FREE PRESS

Free Press is a Guilford College Art Department open house that was created for all of the Guilford community to be able to come together and create art that is expressive and political. A group of dedicated students and faculty collaborate with other college departments to create events with interactive forms of art making, such as screen printing, woodblock printing, and linocut stamping. Folks who come and participate at the events get to learn about printmaking by doing it themselves. They then take with them hand printed T-shirts, posters, and patches that they made with their friends and community.
